  • Business year 1971
    Company was founded with its focus on traditional model design and construction until the early 1990s.
  • Business year 1992/1993
    The company acquired the master craftsman’s diploma in model design and construction. The company was one of the first to invest in CAD / CAM technologies.
  • Business year 1994
    Purchase of the first milling machine and plans for new company premises.
  • Business year 1995/1996
    Move of company to new premises.
  • Business year 1998
    Extension of the workshop and purchase of two additional CNC milling machines.
  • Business year 1999
    Investment in a large coordinate measuring machine.
  • Business year 2000
    Purchase of a Deckel-Maho DMU 200P.
  • Business year 2003
    Introduction of a Quality Management System.
  • Business year 2005
    Modellbau Hochstein GmbH & Co. KG was awarded the largest single project in the company history, the complete interior gauge package of the Audi R8. An additional 5-axis milling machine was commissioned.
  • Business year 2007
    Production upgraded for enhanced efficiency (software, zero point mounting system for all machines). The measures taken showed prompt and excellent effect, enabling the company to manage single piece production at the speed of serial production.
  • Business year 2008
    In early 2008 an expansion of the premises became essential. The number of employees had doubled in the period from 2006 to 2008. The premises were extended and remodelled from June to September 2008 (extension area: 200 sqm).
  • Business year 2009
    Purchase of two CNC-controlled measuring machines from Wenzel’s LH series.
     
  • Business year 2012
    Former company name changed to MHO Modellbau Hochstein Olpe GmbH
